Winner of the 2024 Dr. David T. Lowenthal Founder's Award Each year in honor of our Founder, the Florida Geriatrics Society presents the Dr. David T. Lowenthal Founder’s Poster Session Award in Geriatrics to the author whose abstract has been judged to best exemplify excellence within a topic area pertinent to geriatric care. Dr. Khan’s abstract "Hiding in Plain Sight: Korsakoff Syndrome received the highest scoring by the judges at the conclusion of the FGS Annual Dr. David T. Lowenthal Founder's Award Poster Session during the 35th FGS Annual Meeting at the Tampa Renaissance Hotel International Plaza, Tampa. Congratulations Dr. Khan and Co-author, FGS Member Dr. Peggy Chatham! From among all abstract submissions, the FGS Lowenthal Award and Poster Session Committee also invites a small number of authors to present their research at the annual meeting as an oral presentation upon the closing of the final poster judging session and as a part of the general session. 2024 David T.
