Lowenthal Poster Session Founder's Award for Excellence in Geriatric Research. Registration to participate in the Lowenthal Poster Session Founder's Award is free. 2022 Guidelines and Attestations Abstract Submission FGS Annual Meeting.docx Call for Abstracts: General Rules & Requirements All Florida Geriatrics Society members are eligible to compete for the David T. Lowenthal Founder's Poster Session Award for Excellence in Geriatric Research. Authors may submit abstracts pertaining to those categories as approved by the FGS Education Committee. See link below for full listing of categories. All posters will be judged by criteria that will encompass scientific merit, presentation, and pertinence to the field of geriatrics and the author's oral presentation if selected as a finalist. Your abstract must be submitted along with contact information and financial disclosure forms for any co-author(s) prior to the cutoff date in order to be considered for the Lowenthal Founder's Award. The primary/presenting author must be a current FGS member and available to present their work during our annual meeting Lowenthal Award poster session, in order to be eligible for the Lowenthal Founder's Award. Final acceptance of the abstract is contingent upon at least one of the authors registering for, paying the meeting registration fee, and attending the Annual Meeting. In addition to this, you must be registered as a current FGS member and present your poster during your assisgned time at the Poster Session during the Annual Meeting to be considered for the Lowenthal Founder's Poster Session Award.
